No, I don't have to go to the gym (at the moment). When it rains, it pours!!!!!!!!!

I am rounding up all of my nice fiberglass trays for the 2.5 ton cleanout of a range (that has been delayed for weeks, due to the weather). Just as I freed up a lot of trays (as evidenced by the WW's in the large tomato cans in a previous post above), I get 2 calls today: one for a pickup of about 40 5-gallon buckets of brass; and another pickup of 400LBS of wheel weights!!!! It was a photo finish for the WW's; I get the call at 4:30PM, I am out of town by about 1/2 hour; and close of business is 6PM. It was like: Be there, or be square!!!! Phew, I made it back home to switch vehicles, offloaded all the trays that I had for the cleanup of the range (which are slated to be transfered to my helper's truck); left enough trays for the WW's, loaded up the scale and calculator. Made it there at 5:45PM. Did my thing and returned home. I then then offloaded the trays filled with the WW's to a rollaround cart; and rolled the cart into my "new" shop. I then went to eat, and upon return, loaded up plenty of empty fiberglass trays and large rectangular storage bins for the brass pickup tomorrow. I figure I will be fetching around 2000LBs (give or take) of brass shell casings. I've fit around 1300LBs+ of brass into the SUV previously, with use of boxes and buckets.

And if someone tries to hi-jack me, watch out!!!!

If I have to make 2 trips tomorrow, I will so so! The site is about 20 miles away; so it won't be a hardship if I can't do this in one shot!!!!

=== > update 2/10: did about 1950LBS first trip; went back for about 600 more pounds; will post some pictures later; got beaucoup 223's as well. I am tired tonight; will offload the 2nd trip's batch tomorrow < ==== end update

Like I said, when it rains ... it pours (and in my area of late, when it snows.....)

Will be busy and kept off the streets (while waiting for the warm weather!!!!)

    Take care all,

    ~ K

got my order of lead from you and hope you do have me on the list for clip on and stick on lead let me know when you have some that you want to sell me.
I am so happy with your lead, it is good to find a good source of lead at a fair price. With the new shop and heating to melt lead doesn't that keep you warm. Ha Ha

I would love to have a tractor trailer !!!!! And my helper Marcel, was a trucker for I think around 40 years - never, ever had an accident or mishap. He can back up his trailer (that he fashioned from his 1956 Dodge pickup truck) as if it were not a trailer; he amazed people at a scrap yard one day, making it thru the gate (backing up) on first try (other people have to try several times!); so, I rely on him when it comes to the heavy loads! Wouldn't it be grand if I were in a situation needing to rent a tractor trailer.... I already have a driver at the ready!!!!!!!!!!!!

We go to the range tomorrow to finish up ports 1-5; today was filled with a metal pickup and other miscellaneous tasks.... so hopefully tomorrow I can resume with the pistol brass sorting (I hope to finish that.....) and then move on to the .223.

    Soon....

I just added you to the list: yikes you're about 35th in line for lead (which includes range lead, but most people are asking for clipons). I have a few thousand pounds of WW's waiting to smelt, and more forthcoming! I may have to limit 1 box per customer, since I believe I have enough weights on hand to do up probably 25 to 30 boxes of lead (figuring 25% waste off the top of my head); and my raw supply includes stickies as well. My range lead ingots are almost on a par with WW clipon lead in terms hardness. So, hopefully, once warm weather comes, I will be able to cast all of this stuff up! I will busy for sure!

And for all of those who are on the list; never feel bashful to write to me requesting to remove your name; I truly understand! And, as always, there is no obligation whatsoever to purchase my lead when I finally reach your name!!!

    With kind regards to all,

    ~ Kathie
