    Spanish destroyer DOUBLE STACK magazine

I’m looking for a DOUBLE STACK magazine for a Bergmann Spanish destroyer carbine in 9mm largo. This is not the typical single stack magazine. Anybody have one they could spare, or have a lead on one???

Yes. It was the predecessor to the single stack models. Pre 1953 I believe.

They are out there, though tough to find. I purchased a couple from a gun show a few years ago for my DeLisle project. Fun carbines to shoot!

I know a guy who might be able to source one. I'll let you know via PM.

You can spot the early ones with the double-stack mags by looking at the floorplate/magazine well area. The early ones that use the double-stack have a simple flush floorplate similar to the actual rifle caliber Mausers they are patterned after. But the single-stack later versions have a short magazine extension or magazine well that protrudes downward from the floorplate area and is an extended part of the trigger guard.
When democracy becomes tyranny, those of us with rifles still get to vote.
