    Plastic mag follower

I was recently given a Glenfield model 60 that had been left in a shed. It was cosmetically in rough shape. Cleaned up fairly well with some Scotch Brite pads and the bore appeared to be pristine. The plastic follower that is on the magazine compression spring is bent. Is there anywhere to get just the plastic piece? Numrich sold the whole rod, but I only need the follower.

I haven't taken it to the range yet, but it appears to function fine.

no source that i am aware of - if it functions _ feeds i would not worry about the bend - those magazines all originally had steel followers - the plastic ones are later production -

My father has a Winchester 250 that should be close to the same dimensions. His follower was somehow lost, I replaced it with a shortened piece of 22 Hornet brass. It may actually work better than whatever was in there before.

This is normal for a m60 Marlin. It swivels all around but works every time.

If it works fine, leave it alone, if not make a new one from whatever you want.

    They made them STRAIGHT? :O
Rights, and Privileges, are not synonymous. We have the Right to Bear Arms. As soon as the Government mandates firearm registration, and permiting, then that Right becomes a Privilege, and may be taken away at our Master's discretion.

The end inside the tube is ball shaped so the outer tip can follow the last bullet up
    the feed ramp.
Spell check doesn't work in Chrome, so if something is spelled wrong, it's just a typo that I missed.

Thanks for the responses. I have not been able to get to the range to try it out yet. Maybe this week. This one actually has a small bend. I have thought about using heat and trying to straighten it.
