    Free Bench Block

If anyone is interested....I made a "quick & dirty" bench block from an old hockey puck. It could be more sophisticated with another cross groove, additional pin holes, or whatever you like. Hockey puck material hacksaws and drills easily if you freeze it first. Have fun....the price is right.........Bill

Great idea now all I have to do is not be beat up by the little kids when I steal their puck. I better go shirtless so they can't rip it over my head while knocking me silly.

What is a bench block used for?
If you get a woman involved in the shooting sports you have involved her whole family. This in turn dramatically increases the number of people who support the 2nd Amendment. Please support women in becoming shooters.

Are you going to be there? http://secondamendmentmarch.com/

It's used as a place to hammer out or insert pins etc, without damaging the metal. They have specialized ones for the front sights on AR-15's and some for 1911's.

Here's a link to an example

    Excellent idea Bill*!
