At home I am limited to a hundred yards , but if I run up to the farm I have a 350 yard range with a large back stop . Most of my cast boolits are shot out of handguns in the 15 -50 yard range , & long guns at a 100 .

Milk jug at 600yd. .308, 210gn cast and powder coated, approx 1800fps.
Got a 6" gong that I put out at 50 yards and shoot my revolvers at. Should put one out at 100 for my .308 and 30-30.

Pistol out to 35 yards for determined work. I'll chase a gong at 120 yards plinking with the same handguns. For rifle out to 100 yards using a glass equipped Longbranch and a Marlin 30-30. Success is measured in three rounds, all touching at that distance. The Marlin sometimes the Longbranch daily. Those girls in Toronto, back in the day, knew how to build a rifle for their men.

Its been months since I bought the book, "How to scam people online". It still has not arrived yet!

Shot sixguns across hollows & on the open mines in WV many many times but over the last year or so its mostly been offhand stuff at 50 yards on steel with rifle & sixguns using iron sights.
I've banged away at steel with my handguns & 6.8 & 45-70 to 200y. My 44mag hunting load is a 270gr cup point & its good to 150y for me from seated rest, about 5" groups.
EVERY GOOD SHOOTER NEEDS TO BE A HANDLOADER.

45/70, routinely out to 500 meters, occasionally 830 yards. We have a 1k dinger but I haven't gotten the time.
IHMSA Handgun Silhouette. Handguns in 7TCU and 7BR, both using the RCBS 7mm 145 Silhouette bullet. Distances from 50-200 yards. I have engaged the silhouette chicken target at 300 yards and can occasionally hit that with iron sights. I use Hardball alloy and Felix lube.
500 yards so far.

100 yards and under for cast in my handguns and rifles. The farthest I’ve shot rifles here is 1/4 mile- but not with cast bullets.
180 gr. hard cast with gas checks -
357 Maximum @ 250 yards.
I shoot my Winchester High Wall 38-55 out to 100 yards for accuracy and out to 300 for fun. At 100, 1.5" groups are the norm. 200, I seem to hover around 4-5". At 300 my groups get to about 8" but I'm still learning this gun and what it likes. I'm coming close but don't have powder to really mess with it till the shortages end.
I was feeling good about my cast boolit shooting having my 9.3 x 62mm Mauser with an Accurate 37-285C pushed by H4895 cast with Lyman#2 alloy shooting paper at 200 yards, and 45/70 shooting 200 yard with a NOE 405-460 boolit cast from COWW
I guess I will keep punching hole in my 8" target and enjoying it, what few times I get to a 1600 meter range I want some thing like my 338 Lampa pushing j-words
.38-55, .40-65, .45-70 to 400 yds.
NRA BPCR Silhouette goes to 500 meters, Long Range BPC to 1000 yds.
farthest i shot was 800 yards at the linebaugh seminar a few years. All with handgun. sad to admit but the farthest ive shot a cast rifle load at is a 100 yard paper target.

100 yds 44 mag, 700 yds 45/70.
As of yesterday, 465 yards with a308 win. But, more to come.
I firmly believe that you should only get treated by how you act, not by who or what you are!!
5.56, .308, .45-70 out to 500 at home. .45-70 in BPCR out to 1000 yards. .22 LR to 150 yards at home. .44 WCF and .45 Colt rifles to 200 yards at home and SASS, pistols same cal to 100 yards. I would like to try 5 miles with the .45-70 trapdoor like the government did.
