Very nice, MDC. I'm a sucker for basket-weave.
Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty.
Those look great.

They are really cool.
You can miss fast & you can miss a lot, but only hits count.
Very nice work, Looks like more than a hobby at least as far as the quality goes. I'd be proud to wear one.

That is some beautiful and very nice work! Thanks. I like the carved designs, but all of those are beautiful. I like your use of lines in them, particularly.
Thanks guys. Jeepy, it is a bit more than a hobby. I make these sheaths for a couple of knife makers in my general area. They would rather make knives than do leatherwork and I don't have the tools to make knives so we trade out.
I have always liked oak leaf patterns and basketweave together. I'm still working on my carving and this gives me reasons to practice.
Bottom row extreme left , I like it very much .
You ship over seas ? (Aus) I have a damascus bladed knife that needs a nice belt sheath to keep it in.
Beautiful work.
Really nice work, MDC. I love working leather but am nowhere near the talent you are.
Are the middle row with the loop, inside the waistband type sheaths? They look nice and kind of like an acorn.

EMC45, the middle row just have not been folded and sewn yet. Thought it may be easier to see the pattern. I do make some pancake style sheaths but they still are worn owb. It's the brown one.The black sheath was built for a knife built by Ben Kabisch from Henrietta Tx. It was donated to Children's Miracle Network for auction and I'm pleased to say the pair brought $575 for the charity.
There is also a pic of an IWB holster I built for my Sig 938.
Really appreciate the kind words guys!
Those are very nice. I'd be proud to wear any of those.
Awesome work. Makes me want to get all my old stamping and leather tools out. Wouldn't turn out near as nice as your stuff, but wouldn't hurt to try.
That Sig holster is super slick!

Yes sir, if you have them you should put them to work.
I've ruined a lot of leather just getting to where I am and there are plenty of guys that make my work look terrible. It's relaxing for me. I can turn on the radio and get into a zone where that's all I'm thinking about much like sitting down at the reloading bench or at a casting pot.
Those compliments were EARNED! And thank YOU for raising the bar for us wannabes. I'm envious of your talent. Thinking about making some more knifes, and they'll need sheaths, too. I'm not in your league, but know how to make a decent and strong sheath. Just wish i could make them look as nice as yours do. I'll keep trying, and guys like you give me something to shoot for, whether I ever get that good or not. Ya' gotta' have a goal, right?
