a 54cal Renegade was my first muzzleloader and since I seem to always have one layin' around I'd hafta say it's my favorite.
6 ga African trade gun. Nothing wakes you up more the 1000grs of lead propelled by 200 yrs of powder!

I've had a lot of 'em over the years that I've really liked . . . but based on what I have now . . . if I had to choose one . . . it would by my H & A .36 under hammer - it was one that Deer Creek made years ago. A fun plinker . .. easy on powder and lead and since I can't shoot right handed anymore, it was an easy switch to shoot it left handed. Simple yet loads of fun.
1860. Definitely. I do love my Walker, but I carry my '60 everywhere. They're just a hoot to shoot.
KE4GWE - - - - - - Colt 1860, it just feels right.
Well, I only have one, so my favorite would have been a:

Shot one once, Its real hard to miss with it.

I only have a these and a .50 cal Lyman sidelock, but my ROA is certainly my favorite.
I must admit that a Walker is on my list too, however a bit lower, as I like the history behind it as well as the massiveness and power.

Ruger old army, I love watching my 12 year old grandson shooting it, It`s a blast!
An old CVA Mountain 50 cal . Bought it in a hock shop for next to nothing , was a kit rifle and whoever put it together made a mess of it . Ugly blonde/yellow stock , no fitting done , scratched up with a trashy blue job .
Reason I liked it was that it was so ugly I didn't even carry it in a case , it just layed in the car trunk . In the process of always having it with me I shot it more than 'better' rifles I owned . I could use it more proficiently because of repeated use . Pretty much wore it out and gave it to a guy for his grandson to learn to shoot black powder .
No turning back , No turning back !
i have a 50 Renegade Flintlock and it is hands down my favorite of the 32 firearms i own.
I have quite a few and like the different ones for different reasons so it's really hard to pick a favorite. If I had to get rid of all but one though, I'd keep an old 32 cal original ML. It's just a plain style like a hardware store gun. Weights a ton though. 39" barrel 1 1/8" across the flats. So long I have a hard time fitting it in my car.
Aim small, miss small!
51 Navy .
i.m just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round..... i really love to watch them roll ,,,, J,W,L.
1862 Fayetteville rifle. Not an original of course, it's a hand made copy of an 1862 CSA Fayetteville containing some original parts.
Beautiful Ithaca Gunner! That looks like it would hit whatever it's pointed at!
currently, that'd be a GPR slow twist .50 that i stuck together from a kit and added SML aperture front and rear sights.
i prefer flintocks only, and the convenience of a hooked tang breech half stock = the hawken "missing transition" rifle that marries those two features that have never been found on one hawken rifle.
Either my T/C Seneca or Cherokee both in 45 cal. Tack drivers and the deer seem to fall right over.
Just one???? That's like asking which of your kids you like the best!
Okay, well here's my favorite rock-lock. Made by earl Williams of Tennessee, an early Christian Springs rifle, .54
