    7mm TCU, which Lar's lube?

Going to lube and size up some 285346 Lyman's with Hornady gas checks. Will be developing a mild load for a 10" Contender.

I have one luber already with Lar's red carnauba.

i have a spare empy luber - no heater- I can opt for Lar's xlox 2500+, BAC, or RCBS lube. (These I have three tubes of each on hand.)

Any thoughts thoughts on these for the cartridge?

I use both BAC and Red carnauba on my 7mm TCU and other +/- 2K rounds (JDJ's, TCU's, etc...) I can honestly detect no difference when shooting or cleaning afterward. I have no leading with either. I tumble lube after the fact with a Alox/johnson liquid mix, but only to add a dry finish to the bullets to keep them from collecting dust and debris. The shoot just wonderful with or without it. All my loads have noses that just engage the lands +.001-.0015 deep and I do run them gas checked. I do not worry about the checks, I use crimp on checks and I do seat them below the necks with no issues.

I have used both BAC and 2500 in the 7x30 Waters Contender same boolit. Both worked just fine, BAC is slightly softer, RCBS (50/50)rifle lube is even softer yet.

If you're already set up for Carnauba Red, you have your answer
