Another +100 for accurate molds! Won't ever part with mine, and as said cast perfect bullets first time out, got it in less than 3 weeks!

I just checked in with Tom and priced the trough sprue plate for a 5 cavity ($25) and ordered one. I think it might help keep the mold temps up on the aluminum.

Top this for Accurate's service: Cad drawing emailed on Saturday and mold received the following Friday!
    * There are 3 of us in the US that own a 9.5x47R Schuetzen rifle. The caliber gave birth around 1880 and went out of vogue in 10 to 15 years. After much research by the 3 of us - these stop ring bullets are now available for our shooting enjoyment.
    * Brass were another story ... I found the only 80 cases known and paid an average of $3.79 per case

I can't top it, except rather than me providing the design, Tom designed it and the rest of the story is the same.

Has anyone sent Tom a bullet from an obsolete mold to have him duplicate it? I'm thinking about doing this, except I want the bullet .003 larger in diameter.

Accurate (Tom) does have some limitations as to what he can do. Diameter, no smaller than .30 cal, meplat size, if I remember correctly, not smaller than .180, radius modification (pretty slight in my experience) Send him an e-mail and ask, he's a class act and he has bent over backwards to get me what I wanted.

.003" is not a problem. He will do that to any of the designs he has listed. Heck, I had him take a mold from .318" to .331" and also .341". If the boolit you want is within his limitations/capabilities it should be no problem. Be aware that it will have a minimum of .180" meplat despite what the original nose profile has.

No problem with the meplat, this is a big bullet. It's an Ideal 512137. It is 300gr, .512" diameter. But I need it .515".

    Here's one - the rare Ideal 375166 (320gr) for 38-55. In a 1:18 twist, the bullet ratio calculates to 17.65. Haven't tried it in a 38-72
I've shot the bullet to 500 meters with 42gr FFg powder with excellent accuracy
Groups 100 -200 -300yds are sub MOA and have targets to prove it

I have the 'scarce' Ideal molds for the Dr Hudson designs 319273 (32-40) and 375272 (38-55) ... both tapered breech seating bullets - but want Tom make these molds for me too

Just ordered a 2 cavity 32-185B from Tom for my Marlin 336A and 336RC's in 32 special. I've always wanted a Lyman 321297 for these rifles, but the price of those is getting dear.

You want a .515 maynard or smith bullet. While I have Accurate moulds, these are available off the shelf from Moose moulds and several others. They come in 2-3 grooves

A copy of the Lee 310 without a GC that drops at .431" and a TL 240gr for the lever guns. A 92 and a 1894 Marlin.
