.41 Magnum loads with PB powder?

Does anyone have any load data on PB powder in a .41 Magnum? I am using 210 grain LEE cast bullets, W-W brass, Win primers in a 3 screw Blackhawk. I would like 900-1000 fps. Thank you, Paul

Modern Reloading Second Edition by Richard Lee has the data you are looking for but the velocities are faster than you are looking for.

That's true, the Lee 2nd edition book lists a 210gr cast bullet using 8.1gr of PB for 1136fps and 9.0gr for 1250fps. The latter is listed with 39,000CUP for pressure. I don't see what barrel that was shot out of but a number of years ago I loaded 8.5gr of PB under a 215gr cast bullet and recorded 1211fps out of a 10" T/C barrel.

Out of a 7.5" Freedom Arms M97 that 8.5grPB/215gr cast loading showed 1139fps, and 7.0gr of PB and the same bullet made 1030fps. Also tried 8.0gr of PB, but didn't record velocity--only that it didn't shoot as well as the 7.0gr/1030fps or 8.5gr/1139fps versions. Your gun would likely give different results, but that's what I found. These bullets were designed for gas checks but I shot them without. Took them in on trade and don't even know what lube is on them, but they worked fine.
