i guess a dog can be found in any brand of firearm. my main .45-70 is a pedersoli bodine roller, bought because lonestar is out of business. mighty pleased with that rifle. my other in that caliber is a armi sport (cimarron-chiappa) '74 sharps - bought it new because the price was ridiculously right. so far i have no complaints whatsoever. both rifles now sport lee shaver soule rears and spirit level globe front ends. only handload trap door loads with my cast boolits. life is still good ....

I've got a Shiloh and it is a work of art. Mine is a 45-70 and I upgraded the wood from the base model. I have been very pleased with the rifle and the folks there were very helpful when I was trying to figure out what I wanted/needed on it. I have also handled a Pedersoli and it was a nice rifle as well. It wasn't quite as refined as the Shiloh but a fine rifle nonetheless. I have no experience with the C Sharps line. I won't tell you which brand to buy, just find one you like and scoop it up, you won't be disappointed.

Furniture and Fit to Finish aside, are folks aware that the barrels of all Pedersoli rifles are bored to match grade?
Might also know, the Pedersoli Gibbs is among the #1 match winner Internationally?
    Regards
    John

You would think that as long as the Pedersoli sharps have been around , they would have layed claim to a national, or regional title in one or more bpcr venues...
Long range rules, the rest drool.

I have one Shiloh that has a crescent butplate that weigh's just under 10# in a .44-77. It is a fine shooter and I don't have anymore of a problem with recoil with it as I do with the 25 pounder Shiloh .44-100 above it.
The .44-100 has shot a tighter groups them my 700 rem 06

Well now I am getting images on the first two links also (which appear to be the same as the next post?) except for the gallery of in-stock guns for sale, don't know why it didn't work the first time.
