I cast up about 250 hollow base wadcutters using the NOE-360-148-wc. I loaded a couple of different loads for testing using WST instead of my usual Bullseye. It will be interesting to see how well they work.
I hope they work well since I managed to get an 8LB jug of it. I have enough powder to load 18-20 thousand rounds if these loads work.

Hey Tazman, I have that mold. How have you found the accuracy to be?
I think they must have to be pretty soft for that thick skirt to flare out and obturate under a target load.
I actually was getting better accuracy loading them backwards in my initial loads.

Accuracy has been excellent in all 4 of the revolvers I have. I am not running them soft. I water drop them coming out of the mold, not for the hardness but for convenience sake.
I am sizing them to .358 which is what I use for all the other boolits I shoot in those guns. The bases won't need to expand much if any to fill my barrels. So far they have worked really well.
The only issue I have is I need to be careful when I open the mold that I don't crack/break the skirt.

Looks great! Any chance of a "motion picture" of it in action?

Ran 250 223's through the Pro 2000, had to stop and go to memorial service for a friend's dad, then an over-nighter at friends house.

    Unhappy reloading room

Hi: Wondering what you and others are finding out about ww lead ratio. Last bucket (115 lb) of ww I got was 44 lb. lead and the remainder was zinc,
    steel and plastic.

It's a guesstimate, but I'm closer to 75-80% usable weights.

I gave them up. The tire shop I had been getting them from is still pulling off old weights but the lead ones are few and far between. The last 6 months worth that I picked up ran less than 50% lead.
Down here no one wants the others.

Did some measuring for a set of "totes" that stack to put brass in and keep the casting gear together.
    Be careful,

A friend helped me setup the Loadmaster press. I still need the Pro Auto Disk powder measure and new tubes for the case feeder. Getting closer to getting it running.

Make sure you get the Adjustable Charge Bar for your Auto Disk, you'll thank me/and Lee. Screw those Disks!

The adjustable charge bar does not work for me with 3.5 grains of Bullseye. sometimes I got none, zero grains and some times it gave me 3.5 but most of the time it was very low from want I needed. Others have said it works great over 5 grains of powder.

Realized I need to cast up some 9mm asap. And it's cold outside.
