    derimmed 22 brass

I know this is not the S&S section but wanted to get a feeler for any interest before I post. I friend of mine has recently opened a gun shop and has a fair quantity of de-rimmed 22 brass. I am guessing he has enough to fill three or four SFR boxes. It will probably be sold as weight and not quantity.

    Would there be any interest?

    Sorted by headstamp? Annealed?
Swaging. Keeping the 40's running for the price of .22's
and .223 bullets for a fraction of a cent!

No. Right now they are in large plastic bags and would be put in small flat rate boxes to fill the box. The price would be determined on how much ends up in the box.

If selling at brass recycling rate I will take them, but I would like to see a pic first. Do you know if they have been annealed?
Its easy to tell. If you can easily pinch them closed at the open end they are annealed.

Are you talking about the online going rate or what you would be payed at the recyclers. As far as annealing goes I am not in possession of the brass at this time. Online the rate is $1.60 to 1.65 a pound. I will ask if that plus shipping would be acceptable. It may take up to two large flat rates.

I just got the brass from the guy who is selling it. It is mixed brass and there is 19lbs 5 ozs in the box. It does not appear to have been annealed. If the slips of paper in the bag were correct there is over 14000, Yes that is correct fourteen thousand pieces. I am going to give you guys first crack since I talked with you guys first. If I do not hear anything by 5:00 o'clock Friday I will place it on the S & S forum. Let's say $45.00 shipped. As usual the first I'll take it followed by a pm gets it. I do not take paypal in any form. A money order is preferable. I will take a personal check but will wait for it to clear.
