Need a link to a US manufacturer of thermocouples

A banned member here in the last 2 months has replaced both thermocouples on the PID he made for me and now another one went bad(made in China).
He will not reply to my emails so if I could find a place where I can buy 2 American made thermocouples
that I can wire to the plug I'll be good to go.

    Try google

Omega is a long time manufacturer of that stuff but you will not like their prices.

McMaster - Carr makes nothing but sells practically every industrial item under the sun.

Thermx Southwest. They are local to me and I use them all the time. Give them a call and explain what you are looking for and they can custom make one for a reasonable price, or you can buy the bare wire and do it yourself.

The thing is I do not know what the perimeters are for the TC that I need, what olms, volts or any of that will work for the PID that I have.

I would contact Auber Instruments and ask for what you are needing. The origin of manufacture is unknown for the products they sell but the parts for my 3 setups come from them and I have never had any failures or issues.

Try WW Grainger. You're probably looking for a type K thermocouple.

    http://www.grainger.com/search?searc...K+thermocouple

    This one may work?

    Good luck.

The one linked from Grainger is only good for 450 degrees so it won't work.

KYCaster is correct... you need a K type TC.

    Look here.

    http://www.thomasnet.com/products/pr...3558944-1.html

There are many manufacturers in the US. They will be more expensive as no one can compete with China on price. Quality is not cheap.
PM me if you have any questions. (I work for one of them.)

Look on amazon. I wouldn't worry about one failing that much, they are only a few dollars, buy a couple.
