    .223 lead boolits using a .22LR jacket

    Saw this video on youtube. Would love to know if anyone knows how to make these or sells similar dies to accomplish the same thing? http://youtu.be/bkAU5ekbPLA

    its called swaging check out the swaging section of this forum there are lots of options out there.

    Look up a guy named BT Sniper, he sells the dies. If I shot .223 ALOT I'd consider it, just because it's neat. But it might not be worth it to everyone.

    You'd have to shoot .22 LR a lot, too (or other rimfire -- .17 Mach II, .17 HMR, .22 Mag, 5 mm Mag, and the forthcoming .17 Win Super Mag can all be turned into jackets with the correct dies and tools), to have empties for the jackets. Best if you shoot the same brand/type of rimfire ammo all the time, that way you get consistent jackets...
