    35 Remington Load

I am trying to find a load for a 158 grain pistol boolit in my 35 Remington 336 Marlin. Bullet is cast as 0.360". Barrel slugs 0.359". Using what I think is a good lube and the boolit has a lot of lube groove. No gas check. I am getting some leading at 12.0 grains of 2400. Accuracy seems to go and come. Don't ask me to explain it. Think I will drop back to 11.0 grains of 2400 to see if the leading disappears. Anyone have any advice and estimate velocities for this powder load range?

Get some Bullseye, start at 3.5 gr abd workup to 6 gr in .3 gr increments. Best accuracy will come in the 800 -950 fps range.
