Hey Swede, could you add a lead pot casting thermometer to my mold order? I dropped my Lyman & now it won't go below 300º & who knows how accurate it is in the casting range. At least I got 20yrs out of it.

My Lyman disappeared, along with my Lyman ingot mould (the one with the backward N). I've hunted high and low in the barn and can't find either one. Probably went the way of many of my tools - either one of my sons, or a grandson, borrowed them both. Al's thermometer works very well, excellent replacement.

Hi all, first time here. I am looking for a good mold for my new 458 SOCOM.

Please put me down for an RG4 gas checked model, unless of course this boolit wont function well in my rifle.

Any help/tips/advise for a new caster/reloader would be appriciated

I'm planning to try running this in my .458 also. It looks from the drawing like the base shouldn't stick too far into the case and we should actually be able to use the crimp groove. Haven't shot mine much yet, hoping this will give it a more affordable diet than Hornady. I am new to casting also, used to help my Dad make round balls but am just getting into it on my own.

Hey Swede, somebody! I haven't been in on a GB and still not real sure of your terminology. I want to make sure my RG2 GC .460 mold will be able to cast BOTH flat nose and HP by changing pins. Both cavities. Xtra cost OK. Just makin' sure!
