    New Thermometer

I just got a new thermometer from Al at NOE. What an eye opener. My Lee pot runs hotter than I thought. If I turn it above 4 on the pot it continues to climb way past 700. My Lyman pot stays at about 650 to 675 when set at 7 1/2. Well worth the investment. I guess I was casting blind before. Gary

My old Lyman model 61 ran about 50 degrees hotter than I thought as well until I got the thermometer from Swede. Now, it goes in the pot along with the sawdust every time.
