I had the .410 solid frame pump that the 170 was based on and if you didn’t pump it “briskly” it was prone to hanging up like Pietro mentioned.

You’ve got to hit them in the white part to knock them OFF the table.
The .45 auto with 200 SWC worked well, and no one used a 9mm back in the day around Texarkana for the shoots that we went to....

It works.
And I have respect for the feeding system because it feeds my 44-40 .433” RB squirrel loads. It felt like shooting a ten pound lever action .22!
