I'm not too worried about solar flares, Rusky or Chinese EMPs or even the Zombie Apocalypse. Hurricanes get my attention. Been living in SW Fla since 1987, I've seen a few. All gas appliances,...

My generator is always ready. Getting ready to top off the propane tank with hurricane season just around the corner.

That was Noma Tac-22. I have a bunch of Blazer. I'll try that next time out. Thanks for the kind comments.

The rifle is a Remington 550-1 I bought from My Uncle Nolan when I was 8 years old. That was 55 years ago. It has not been to the range in some time due to the fact it had open sights and my eyes...

Perhaps I'm an outlier, but I don't even find it attractive.

I have used F&F on this sight frequently with no issues. I also have sent and accepted personal checks from members. I am perfectly fine with the seller not shipping till the check clears. I will...

Some people do eat iguana. I am not one of them.

Fort Myers is my neck of the woods. Be happy to meet for coffee or a beer.
Forum: Factory Rifles
Too heavy for me for what it is. Turned one down for a good price for that reason.

I'm further south, but you are absolutely correct. There should be no season or hunting restrictions on pythons or hogs, and I am not wrasslin a snake. It gets a dose of birdshot. It is amazing...

Fired two or three of them. Hate them. I like and own several KelTec products so no animosity to the company, but I do not like that weapon.
Forum: Cast Boolits
Yep, I size my cast for .300 Blackout to .310 . No issues feeding.

There must be some pressure there. What caused it to blow out?
Forum: Military Rifles
Watch the video John. The Vortex rep says there is no trigger block with the sighting system whatsoever. So no, you do not need an acquired target for it to fire per that statement.
Forum: The Star Equipment Corner
Well, despite whatever brand is used I still believe an insert is a much more lasting repair if the bolt is removed and replaced on a regular basis.
Forum: Casting Equipment
I just remove them, use a tooth pick or wooden skewer to put some Gorilla glue in the handle and then put them back on using a rubber hammer to seat them really well. Never had any come loose after...

Better be prepared to write a BIG check. I can't imagine the price of the optic alone.
Forum: The Star Equipment Corner
I do not know how the Star works, but I am not a fan of helicoils. Timeserts are a much better repair especially if that bolt gets adjusted or goes in and out on a regular basis.

Looking through Fulton Armory's website I am a bit dismayed by their adamant opposition to reloading.
Forum: Cast Boolits
That would be great ordering a new one, but what about many of us that already have them.? No flames meant. I have the same mold in that video and without nose sizing it is really hit or miss on...
Forum: Cast Boolits
Difficult video to sit through (for me anyway) Skip to about the 22 mark and you will get the nose sizing portion.
Forum: Cast Boolits
Yes sir. I had a couple of Lee push throughs but when I needed a couple of new sizes I went with the NOE setup. While initial kit is a bit more adding size bushings is dirt cheap and I believe more...
