I also have tried 40sw brass for 45 cal bullets but have never been happy with the base

I have a c&h 45 die set that I have made some bullets from 40 sw brass. I never really liked the way the base was formed but got in the game to late to take advantage of rce while he had jackets.

I swage and coat my bullets. 25 acp is not the most pleasant to load but it's still better than buying it.

Looks like they would load just fine.

Dave Corbin told me at one point it was common to make those. Although they would take a piece of #4 copper wire and center drill it then point form.
