Ha,ha! Steal away. I feel like the capsules are the ultimate way to cram more rice into these things. The powder charge on the .38 is 2.0gr vs .5gr for the 9mm.

Have you pulled a crimped bullet and measured it? Check to see if your crimp is swaging it down in size.

I'm too cheap to buy brass for this but .454 would be nice if it uses small primers.
