Just finished my first Kibler Colonial in 54 cal. What an awesome product Jim is producing. Very little skill and tools required to make a fine shooting rifle.

Rice barrel Co. also makes Drop-in replacements for TC. However, there is about a 3 - 4 month lead time if not in stock. Call and talk to Jason.
Also Oregon Barrel Co. has them on their website.

I have a project going in walnut. 50 cal, 42 inch barrel. Going to be a full stock Hawken. I really like working in walnut. I find it works better than maple.

My 1951 336 is 35 Rem is a great shooter. Wish it were easier to find the 200 gr. Cor Lokt's to reload.

In my state of Washington, the liquor stores and Pot shops are open, as they are deemed "essential", but the gun shops and ranges are closed.

Been using Magnums for a bout a year now. No fail to fires at all, not what I was getting with non-mags. the cost difference is minimal, no reason to go back to non-mags.

These GM barrels are reals shooters. I have a 50 and it holds better than I can shoot most days. I do prefer the 32" length. Balances well in the TC stock.

You will also need a 9MM slide release. I built one a few years ago using a Fusion frame and slide, and various parts from different makers. It's a sweet shooter and very accurate.
