EABCO still has some dies in stock. They used to sell formed brass for it too. You can also try to ind some 219 Zipper brass and fireform.

It's a MP bullet and not a Ranch Dog, but your results should be similar. This is from my 5.5" Lipsey 44 special Flattop, using the Skeeter load (7.5 Unique).

Years ago, I had Veral at LBT make me a 44 caliber OWC (Ogival Wadcutter Mold) and have shot hundreds of them through my pistols and Marlin rifle. I have found them very accurate and a joy to shoot.
I have no problem using SPM primers in mostly everything except the 32 ACP.

I also needed to neck turn my Ackley Bee so it would fit in my Bullberry barrel. The only other piece of advice is to use a good lube (Imperial) sparingly and go slowly.

My FA 83 in 454 will not allow a bullet loaded with .454" bullets into the chamber. The bore is .4515" and the throats are .452".

What size "M" die are you expanding the necks to? It doesn't make any difference what you size the bullet if the case reduces the diameter.
