The lists of online retailers of reloading supplies are everywhere.
I would like to propose the creation of a state by state list of walk in retailers, by this I mean not just bubba down the road...

Ebay is one of the worst companies in the world. The reason is simple, they worship $$$ and...

I am one of the lucky ones, I bought the elephant ivory grips on my 1911 in the 90's for $90. If I broke one tomorrow I guess I would just have to buy a new set whatever the cost. For me, there is no...

That is the kind of information that makes me like this site.
I just use factory Colt mags purchased within a few months of the gun. I would not consider them anything special other than they...
:D
Of course it does.
Thank you also.
All help is appreciated, my mother did not raise me to be unappreciative. As a matter of fact, I find ingratitude to be despicable.

The long OAL is about the max before I hit the rifling. I am going to load about 100 short and shoot them, clean the gun, load about 100 long, shoot them and compare.
My gun feeds everything I give it with 100% reliability.
About a month after I purchased it I bought 3 new mags. While target shooting it jammed for the first time. I shot all the mags empty and...

There is no danger I will dremel it, I would only let someone who knows what they are doing work on it.
I have removed the barrel to use as a gauge, an empty cartridge sets just the least bit...
I have one of Mihec's .452-200 molds and have cast a few hundred solids with it. Mihec's molds are works of art. I loaded some of them for my early 90's Colt Officers Model, using Colt mags I bought...

My line of reasoning was this, people seem to be using 7383 in the '06 under jacketed bullets of about 150 grains.
I figure a cast boolit of that weight would be going way to fast with the...
Brass molds just look great, so much better than iron or aluminum. I have not used my MiHec mold enough to tell if casts better than my iron molds, but it certainly beats my aluminum molds do death.

Thanks Nobade.
They say this powder is very fickle, so I was hoping for something a little more definite, but thanks just the same.
I will check around some more and load a few up before long.

Does anyone have load data for 7383 in a 30-06 with a 200 grain cast boolit? I have looked high and low for this loading and have not found anything.
