In my 1900 vintage Marlin 1893 I use 9-10 grs of Unique without filler.

I have been looking for a substitute for Unique. Can BE-86 be substituted in all situations grain for grain ? Are there any other identical substitutes since BE-86 is also an Alliant product that...

If you have not already, a lifetime supply of powder, primers, bullets(lead) , brass and dies, tools and presses would be a good insurance policy to insure your guns will still go “BANG”.

I agree that the 10gr of Unique is a great load and I use it in my Marlin 1893. 38 55. Now that the Allliant products are disappearing what is the replacement for Unique ?

I do use tge same recipe in my HF ultrasonic cleaner. Decap first and they come out nice and clean but not as shiny.
