Got these over the weekend. What do I have?

The first pic is what may be for an Acme press. (no coyotes seen) Some of the parts are marked Acme, patent pending.

Spent some time in the workshop. 50BMG decapping die. Made from 1-1/4" thick wall aluminum tubing. Since I like to decap my brass before cleaning I made this decapper. Had a spare Lee die nut handy....

Played around in the workshop today. Took an old Herter's 41 Mag expander die that was missing the expander assembly and turned it into a "powder cop" die.

Machined a bit of 3/4" brass hex rod...

Very clever. Simple and cheap too.

I thought everyone knew this trick. I've been using shell holders for that since I first got my puller 8 or so years ago.

I keep hearing a lot of good things about the PM line of lathes. I'm hoping to move into a house with a garage this fall. I'll be looking at those to replace my little China-fu lathe.

Looks good! There was a time when I was flat broke. 223 brass was the savior for shooting my CZ52. I've even made brass from 38 special per notes in the Donnelly book.

That's a good way to do that. Looks like a Unimat lathe? I use an ER collet chuck on my little bench lathe so no worry about a 3 jaw damaging the brass.
