I have the Lee .690” and if my memory s correct, it throws to .687” with w/w metal. Shimming it with Aluminum tape will enlarge it if needed.
I use mine for 12ga loads so it’s fine as-is.

You got that right! I despise the new version.

I’ve used several different cartridges to prune trees through the years.
Best I’ve found is/was my Winchester M94 “Legacy” in .45Colt.
I use the Lee .452” 255gr RFN over 8.2gr of Universal. It’s...

If you’re getting misfires and primer set back, you’re way, way over sizing the cases.
I size my .35’s, just enough to allow easy chambering.
Some dies will set the shoulder back too far, and the...

I haven’t really been able to further explore the .30SC.
I Will say that SRP’s made a LOT of difference in primer extrusion and swipe. That’s my primary criteria as I lost the Semi Auto 1500 at the...
I doubt it’s ruined. Soak it in some motor oil then use a bronze brush to work down the rust

Microgroove barrels require casting and sizing at a larger diameter. I’d start at .431.

I’ve used the Lee .309” RNGC sized to .311” with NRA 50/50lube and Hornady Gas Check over 30gr of RL15 for 2,200fps from a Marlin 20” microgroove barrel. Shot 2” at 100yds. I’ve got the 113gr RFN-GC,...
I saw a good work up on the reverse 148 HBWC.
Conclusion was that 3.3gr of Bullseye or 3.5gr of #231/HP38 was MAX.
At 3.3gr Bullseye, expansion was assured without blowing off the base. However,...
I have several .32S&W-L revolvers to feed. Two are early 1900’s S&W hand ejectors .
My biggest concern is that they hit poa/poi. A Lee 100gr 2R @ .314” over 2.0gr of Bullseye gets closest to...

Use either Remington Bore cleaner, or JB bore paste.
Wrap a patch around a bore brush and apply paste to patch.
Use a bore guide if you have one to protect the muzzle crown.
This will quickly...

I use handgun brass to load “.410 Shorts” for my.410’s.
A .44mag or .45Colt that hasn’t seen a “Ruger only” load using 5gr of Bullseye and 7/16” card wads load a splendid 0.4oz load. Runs about...

Check your sized diameter and brand (head stamp) of brass.
Looks like not enough clearance in the chamber.
Try sizing smaller and seating slightly deeper.

Mine is a mis-labeled .309-180 RNGC. It was a large disappointment.
I just “Beagled” my .309-200gr RNGC. It throws to .315” and shoots splendid in my #4mk1 and ‘43

I’ve used an ancient Lyman 22415 mold. 5-digits. It was new old stock when I bought it in the mid’90’s. I size .225” using w/w with added 95/5 leadfree solder.
