You need to get bigger brass containers. My brass is in 5 gallon buckets......... I currently load for 9mm, 40, 45, 10mm, .223 and 243. I used to load for a bunch of other calibers as well.

I have done it with both of my CZs and have done three others for fellow shooters. If done properly there is no problem.

I have been shooting 135s for 4 or 5 years.....I like them.
3.8 to 4.0 grains of WST works great.

Full length sizing of the case is the answer. After the case has been properly sized, only a light to moderate taper crimp need be applied. I do not know of any pistol die that actually sizes the...

In my opinion, Winchester Super Target (WST) and VV 320 produce the least amount of smoke when combined with Magma bullet lube. WST costs about 1/2 what VV 320 costs, so I shoot a bunch of WST in...

The below information is from the Laser-Cast reloading manual for a 250 grain RNFP cast 45ACP:
3.3 Clays
3.8 Titegroup
3.5 Solo 1000
3.9 Bullseye
5.0 Unique
These loads are in the 700 to...

Just to ensure that I don't lead you astray, long loaded 40 caliber rounds are not pushed to 10mm velocities and are not fired in 10mm chambered barrels.
Many folks are shooting 40 caliber or...

Winchester Super Target (WST) and VV320 are two of the go to powders for USPSA shooters shooting cast bullets. Either of these powders seem to produce the least amount of smoke when combined with...

United State Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) shooters have been loading 40 caliber longs (some as long as 1.240) for years. I have experimented with 225 gr, 200 gr, and 180 gr long loaded 40...

I have found an OAL of 1.125-1.130 seems to work in most of the 9mm handguns I have owned when loading 125 or 135 grain cast bullets. I have even successfully used this length in two CZs even though...

Yep.....Magma Green.
Gonna shoot the rest of them tomorrow in a USPSA match.

Sorry, just returned from the range, most of them have an layer of berm dirt in addition to the mold.

I had one...replaced it with a blue one about 18 years ago. The blue one has been great, in fact I loaded 300 rounds on it today.

Well, probably closer to 500 and my Star was already warmed up.

One hour later well.......looks like I have to go to the range.

I think you need to have a .401/.402 diameter if you want any accuracy from a 40 caliber shooting cast bullets.

I get great results using 200 grain cast/3.8 grains of Winchester Super Target/1.135 OAL.

I have been casting my own bullets and shooting USPSA matches with them for years. I know I have not tried every powder/bullet/lube combination, but over the last 18 years, I have tried a bunch of...
Get rid of the Berrys 200 grainers.
Load H&G #68 200 grain LSWC and seat to 1.250 and crimp to .469.
This load works well in my Colts, Springfield, Kimber, Dan Wessons and even a Para or two....

OK, you caught me.
