That's what I was wondering as the Garand was designed around 150 gr. bullet. I'm interested to know how it does for you. I was hoping the Carnauba Red lube (2700+ fps) would handle this...

Anyone using this in a Garand? Results?

Just wondering if anyone has one and what your loading. Will the encore action handle hotter loads than the 1895 Marlin or at least as hot?
Can longer, heavier bullets be used, is there enough lead...

You may check with Buckshot, he has a kit that he makes that works quite well for hard to fit nose punches.

Figure the 375gr would be max in the 444T but I do have the 444P that has the faster twist. Have you tried the 400Gr in a 444P? Wondering if the 18.5" barrel takes too much...

I'm covered up to 350 Gr. but wanna get a 375 and 400gr mold. If you could only have one of each, which woulf you go with?

I shot a smallish buck mulie a few weeks ago with my 338ME. I was very surprised by the result! I had him broadside at about 60 yards and hit him square in the right scapula. This was factory loads...
