Sorry I meant Trail Boss.

I guess it's been that long since I bought any. I have one gallon that is dirty but still good and another gallon that is waiting unopened to be used next.

Well it paid off because I am still using powder that I bought 35+ years ago.

Good stuff. It is sold at every Harbor Freight. Seems to be reasonably priced when I buy it. Something like $12 a gallon.

A while back it looked like there would likely be a President Dukakis. I panicked and went to the reloading store and bought all the Unique powder and large pistol primers / small pistol primers they...

It is fantastic powder. There is no difference between Alliant and Hercules data. It was previously made by DuPont - the formula has not changed in a long time.
I have a Model 25-2. Roy says it shipped in February 1980. It has a spare 45 Colt cylinder that is not serialized to the gun (neither is the 45 ACP cylinder). It's a tack driver. I have not removed...

Around 1992 SAAMI revised the chamber drawings for 45 Colt from .454" to .452". If you have a revolver made before the change you need .454". Later ones will be .452".

I have a problem - I like blue corn taco shells and white corn too. Both are awesome in their own way. I use ground beef (85/15) and put chopped tomatoes, lettuce, and shredded cheddar on the table...
I just got back from the range yesterday. I loaded 3.2 grains of Unique behind a powder coated Keith SWC that was 100 grains. The rounds had little kick in my Colt Officer's Model 32 with 6" barrel....

In that caliber you want a shotgun style stock with a recoil pad. Crescent shaped stocks with steel plates will hurt!

I bought 1K of those last year. Mine had 41 out of 50 that worked fine. I pulled the rest and found no anvils in them. I looked at the rest of the primers and found missing anvils in lots of them....
It's not an Army Special either. It is either a Colt New Army or a Colt New Navy revolver. The Army Special came later. You need original cases or accuracy will suffer.
Well then it is safe to use (max) 3.0 grains of Bullseye, 4.0 grains of HP38 or W231, or 5 grains of Unique under a 200 grain bullet. Use original cases, I have not tried a Starline case but I hear...

I always think there is no warranty that is worth having. If you need to use it, you are likely to hate it.
That being said I have had nothing but perfect luck buying firearms from every company...

Done it many times like this for years. I do not remember where I learned it maybe from my dad?

I bought a Uberti revolver from Cimarron back in 2020. It has Taylor's stamped on the barrel!
If your revolver was made in 1906 it is not a Colt Model 1892. It is more likely a Model 1901 or Model 1903. It should have the Colt "VP" stamp on the forward end of the L/H trigger guard signifying...

I've only heard of posole or pozole but what do I know.

I make posole sometimes with boneless pork chops, Herdez green sauce, garlic, and white hominy. Great with corn tortillas. Serve it with shredded cabbage, thinly sliced radishes, chopped avocados,...

I have used the Lee powder disks for many decades. I think the advice above is good. Perhaps you are trying for a standard that does not matter? Weighing every charge from my equipment it is...

I was there two years ago. A guy had a 4 lb unopened box of Trail Boss powder. He wanted $500 for it. I passed.
Smith and Wesson is the only company that incorporates a lock on their new revolvers. They are not going to sell any to me.
I need one. Their reputation is stellar as seen above. They have not been made in decades.
