As suggested I am adding my 2 bits to this thread. It ain't much and it will take time but I am working on a duplex load for my 16" AR type 350 legend. Using 7grs of Unique I first drop in a 150gr...

SPP has a potentially stronger case head. A quick email to Starline might be worth the effort.

I have never had any patience so I threw these together.

After looking at a 350 legend case and seeing all that straight case length I got to wondering. Has anyone ever tried to duplex load one? A wadcutter in first the followed by whatever works for you....
I have a 1895 Nagant, an Astra 400 and a Ramline Exactor so yes.

There are some who believe a low volume load of a slow powder can lead to kabooms. The theory is when the powder lays flat the primers shoots a spark over the top igniting most of the powder at once...
Ordered 2k primers and a small lot of primed Fiochi hulls to try out. Hazmat was 37 bucks along with 13 dollars shipping.
Over a third of what I paid was to simply get it to my door.

I tumbled a handful of 000 buck, it came out looking very nice. Good enough I might PC some of them just for the hell of it. Just under an hour in the tumbler with nothing but the shot in there.
Of course powder charge/shot charge is the biggest factor but those are adjustable by the loader. Other than that is it which primer, hull, crimp or the wad?

My $7 goodwill special is about 25f off. I have it figured out now.

Very interesting, going to give it try.
I also am also learning about powdercoating bullets so the obvious question is will powder coating the lead balls in the tumbler help?

Chuck your barrel up in a lathe and remove a few thousands from the tang on the rear of the barrel and you can use .38acp/.38 super brass.
ETA; 1911 recoil springs will work in these pistols.

My .44 mag hunting load (and range/target load) is a 310gr flatnose (Lee mold) water dropped wheel weight bullet over (I think, I would have to look it up to be sure) 20grs of 1680. I get around 1200...

I have reloaded steel .223 cases. Just run them through like brass cases and it works fine.

That is currently my favorite mold for casting M1 carbine bullets. You can even shoot them without gas checks but accuracy will suffer.
My 4" Stainless is my go to woods gun when I am out hiking, fishing, riding or whatever. It is a damn fine gun.
I did replace the factory springs with a Wolff kit though.
