I hope MP does another run of the 314 100gr before too long. I have the same style bullet in other calibers and it's a great design but I never tried this one.

That is does. It can turn marginal performance into reliable performance.
I experienced much the same thing when I first started with the 44 special. I did finally find a load I liked though. I use 9 grains of power pistol behind a milhec 210 grain or so cast hollowpoint....
As a additional thought, if for some reason ricochets are a potential concern and snake shot is being chosen over regular bullets for that reason wax bullets will kill snakes quite well at greater...
I believe you can use the same speer capsules designed for 38/357 in 9mm if you wish. However they would need to be single loaded. It is very doubtful they would feed. Honestly though, "snake shot"...
I like the lines of this gun. With this price point especially, if Remington can make it reliable I think they will have a major winner. It looks like it would be very ergonomic and a natural...
I have one of the 445 UL in 44 special with the satin finish. Very nicely built and closely fitted little gun, it is a keeper. One of two Taurus guns I have had that was actually built by someone...

Mine is 7-8 years old and drops at around .433 with my wheel weight alloy. Since I bought a mihec four cavity of the same bullet I don't use the lyman mold much anymore though.

Just remember he is talking colorado cats not texas cats. Ours often times have nice spotting but the fur quality is worlds apart and prices usually reflect that. If you get enough to make it worth...

Crazy isn't it? I would(and do) take the good old balance scales over the digital ones any day.
I would(and do) go with a all steel 38 special for a pocket gun. I have never personally been bothered by carrying a few extra ounces but I do not much care for shooting guns in the 15 ounce or less...

As is usually the case, proficiency is more important than firepower. Some of the "bear protection" handguns make me laugh because they are huge, bulky, and chambered in a round that makes practice...

I have had one for several years and like it a lot. Hornady has slowly but surely tweaked and improved the design of the press over the years and it is good quality and fairly user friendly.
I think the reason peep sights work for many on a handgun in spite of not seeming to make logical sense is because with a little practice some surprisingly decent shooting can be done with no rear...

The "bashing" occurs because craziness, incompetence, and stupid laws is what California is best known for. Don't take it to personally. Stupid laws that get forced through in California often set a...

You know especially when you start getting velocities up around 2000 fps or so hollow points are not necessary for expansion. How many jacketed rifle bullets are hollowpoints? Very few and even those...

Even FERAL cats of all things are now explicitly protected here in texas. It irritated me to no end when they pushed that through five or six years ago now. That sort of silly law is a better fit for...
In spite of being born and raised in texas I have never seen people wearing fancy handguns "to barbeques, baby christenings, formal balls, and any other place where a fancy jacket or outfit would be...

There are definitely some high quality cats up there I wouldn't doubt those prices at all for nice montana cats. Like I said though texas cats are not even close to being in the same league fur...

Realistically speaking FFG fur market reports tend to be extremely optimistic with reality rarely coming anywhere close. In south texas it is rare to get much more than fifty or sixty dollars for a...
Yes, unfortunately after cz bought dan wesson they decided everything they sold was made of gold. They forgot one of the great things about dan wesson was that it was a great gun at a reasonable...
The Mihec group buy 44 cal 200 gr. hollow point should be just about perfect for what you want. It should run shortly too according to what Mihec has said on the group buy thread.

Dan wesson 1911's are decent guns, but cz has overpriced them now for what they are.

There is a 200 gr semi wadcutter in the group buy section that would be good for what you want to do. Down side is it probably will not be in our hands for six or seven months at least. If you want a...
