They expand more and are better for hunting. They're especially effective on thin skinned game.

And NOE has that nice bushing sizer setup too. I'd be lost without it.
You can use a tougher alloy and get both deep penetration and expansion also. Or shoot 54 caliber round balls. Nothing walks far with a 1/2" hole in it. Of course then there's drifting to worry about at distance .....Quote:
