I think I've read about a marlin 444 upper. Wouldn't that bolt work with 44 mag?

The bolt mod for a 44 Rem Mag is pushing it as far as I would take it. I wish someone would make a 44 mag specific bolt.
Dont expect it to happen soon, if at all. They wont be fond of the big reduction in metal. Theyd want to enlarge the bolt head dimensions, needing a bigger upper reciever.. think lots of extra $$$$$$$$$.Quote:
