Good luck, Bruce.
Take care of yourself Uncle Bruce. Thoughts and prayers headed your way friend.
God go with all of you as you work. I wish I was closer. Bruce, you can load in an apartment, many of us did it for years. Just not as convenient! At least it will be all yours.
Good luck. Chin up. Try to be civil even if she isn't. Take care.
Best wishes Bruce. I hope your troubles turn around for you. Best of luck.
Sorry to hear this. Went through one myself. Hope life gets settled and back to a semblance of normal very soon. Will pray for your peace. mikey

Good luck Bruce, Looking forward to your return!
As Lloyd said--been there done that--things get better FAST! In my case she moved. After it hit the fan, we continued to live in the same house. Was only supposed to be for a couple of weeks but due to the incompetence of Brittons civil service it got streched into 4 months! It is EXTREMLY hard to remain civil under those cicumstances but in the end, best thing that ever happened to me!! Good luck with your move and into the future.
This is BruceB, on NVC's computer.
Many, MANY thanks for all the prayers, good wishes and advice.
Although this sort of event was NOT part of the original concept of "Cast Boolits", I will say that this very website has brought me a group of friends that are surely among the very best that any man could desire.
For example, a sizeable group of CB members are traveling to Northern Nevada to help me move to my new apartment in Reno.
Some will come from Southern California and northern Idaho!
This perhaps might not seem so remarkable, until one remembers that I am severely handicapped by the loss of my left leg and about the front third of my right foot.... and have not yet learned to walk with these conditions.
Essentially, these friends are going to be doing virtually EVERYTHING for me, and all I'll be able to do is "direct" the proceedings from my wheelchair. The help these folks are giving is a huge, nay, an ENORMOUS comfort to one who has been accustomed to "doing for himself" for many years.... and is now unable to do so.
It may also lend a little more perspective, if I tell y'all that I haven't driven a vehicle since January 2012, nor do I know if I ever will drive another.
All this can e traced right back to 45Nut, who envisioned and created this website from raw material. The friendships made are a direct result of the concept, and I thank Heaven (and Ken!) for the privilege of knowing everyone here.... even if we never meet in person.
I have begun actually moving into the new place, and this coming weekend my "gang" will move my effects out of my former house and about 180 miles down I-80 into the new one. I've bought new furniture for the most part, and should be quite comfy there. As soon as I get Internet and cable hooked up, I should be posting regularly once again....maybe a week or ten days.
My heartfelt thanks to NVCurmudgeon for the use of his computer.....and particularly for hosting me in his home since my situation detonated in my face last Monday night. He drove 180 miles one-way to pick me up the following morning, to get me out of an untenable set of circumstances.

Glad it's working out - stay strong and let us unable to physically help, know if we can do more than prayer for ya.
