Vigerl and Lucky Gunner test results

Some of you guys have the virgel program, and use it. Others believe in it as well. I would like to see if you guys can help me figure out virgel in real world test results.

Been looking at the lucky gunner 38 special/357 magnum gel tests they have online. Looking at it carefully, 4" 38 special results beat 2" 357 results, using similar bullet weights. And 4" 38 special results are extremely close to the 4" 357 results. In some specific bullet weights getting better expansion AND penetration, or getting same expansion AND penetration.

So I am wondering if the Virgel software can explain that to me.
