Great resource. You've already got half of the materials needed for making great lube. Easy lube 50/50 beeswax and Crisco, or beeswax and olive oil.
I used to use bees wax and other items for grease lube before I totally switched to PC.
I still ahve 28# of the stuff I bought years ago. It never goes bad nad smells GRRRRREAT!.
There is a definite market for the wax on here. I use it in my casting pot as a reducer for the Sn that forms on the top. A pea-sized hunk turns the surface mirror shiny! All Sn reduced back into the melt. And the smell makes me hungry! I hate stinky candle wax and paraffin. Bees wax does not flare up because it has a much higher flash point than hydrocarbon-based waxes.

Good information, I've been using the paraffin for the pot just to get rid of it.
I'll admit, I've used the bees wax once as an experiment in my TD Springfield. Seemed to work good, very little fouling and the imr4227 was a good burn. That was some years ago and I never tried it again.
Be sure to check out the lube thread. A wealth of information about all the lubes you can make.
Copy that.
Two words. Ben’s Red!!!
Or Lithibee - lithium grease and beeswax.
Beeswax and Vasoline, mixed at 50-50 or even 40-60 (for hot weather), will work pretty well for most all "average" shooting situations (even BP). BUT, once you find yourself in weather extremes or shooting at Jacketed velocities, then you will likely want something best suited for your specific conditions.
That sounds like a winner !
Ben’s Red and never need to seek another lube for smokeless powder.
One of the best soft handgun lubes I have used , simple to make :
1 part Lithium Grease (Lucas Red-N-Tacky is my favorite)
3 parts Beeswax
The maker I used to buy it from said
" When we used to make it we used 24 pounds of beeswax and 8 pounds of Lithium Grease"
So I measure my wax and grease by weight , 1 pound Lithium grease + 3 pounds beeswax.
If the beeswax is on the soft side you can add just enough Gulf Paraffin Wax to harden / stiffen it up .
Some beeswax is softer and stickier than other . It's a good cast boolit lube and easy to make.
I've never had a barrel leading problem with it in handgun loads !
Bens Red Lube will cover all the rifle and handgun bases with it's extra ingredients ...good stuff too !

I have sold several tons of beeswax on here as a Vendor Sponsor, but time is rare for me now. So if you want to sell beeswax here I doubt there will be any competition, would be happy to give advice. I would be interested in trading my TAC 1 or TAC X extreme bullet lube for beeswax if you have extra.
Working the Hives is coming, Honey, wax soon
1/3 beeswax, 2/3 beef tallow is the mix I have used for at least 40 years. All calibers, rifle & pistol.
I used to use the Lee alox lube and would get leading occasionally. I made a bunch of Ben's Red lube and will never look back. No, to very minor leading that cleans up easily. Great stuff. Thank's Ben!
