I am almost out of Shilohcreek bore solvent and would like to know what long time users have used to replace it?
I got some of shilohs new stuff it works good. Most anything with water in it is good as long as you oil it afterwards.
Is it as good on lead removal as the original Shilohcreek bore solvent?
Montana Extreme's Cowboy blend is very good at pulling lead and the carbon fouling.
+1 on the CB blend. I had always used turpentine which works well. Got a bottle of Montana Extreme Cowboy Blend as a door prize and tried it on a freshly turpentine cleand bore. Could not believe the lead that came out. I am a believer.Quote:
