Looks like a fun shoot.
Nifty. My Bro lives in Phoenix. I don't think his hair is white enough to participate yet.
It was interesting the conditions thrown at us at this match. Was very good to see Jimbo on the firing line again.
Don,
There is not much I can see written about this match. Where can one see reports of this match?
KA
Keith I'm not aware of anyone that has written much of anything detailed on the match. I did post the score sheets daily on the Rocky Mountain BPCR Facebook page. It's always amazing to me how shabby the cell service is right there. The conditions were quite sporty at times and would do what I coined as subtle but violent changes. The winds where anything but steady. Don't remember what relay it was , but most of us either ran out of windage or were quite close to it. One shooter commented he ran out of windage and was using the target to his left as an aiming point.
4 of us shot under modified Rifleman rules, and while very challenging with the conditions was a boat load of fun and in the end I thought we all did quite well. One of the rifleman had a health issue arise and took one hole entire day off, and then took it easy the next day. The neat thing was it was the first time he had ever fired in a target match beyond 600 yards, and he still grins about the experience.
Next years match is scheduled to begin on Jan 29.
Can almost hear those wind flags snapping in photo 2.
Looks like great fun.

The Ben Avery is a very challenging range to shoot on.
Looks like it's pretty much set in stone the match will begin on January 29 next year.
