I am hoping for better. Manufacturing and machining Technologies have come a long way since the Contender was designed. Too the best of my knowledge Contenders never required the hand fitting some of the other handguns required.

Very promising as Mr. Ritz was part of TC when they were in Rochester,NH. They are missed as they made unique, quality firearms.

One of the last thing from T/C that I saw was the youth Hot Shot. A scaled down Contender frame in 22 LR rifle for youths. I instantly had thoughts of a Hot Shot pistol grip and possibly a 12 inch barrel. GW

A return of the muzzleloaders would be great.

My Omega is the most accuracy ML I have ever owned. 2.5” groups at 300 yards! Bring ‘em back!

I have several TC firearms/ML, all accurate as heck. I do not care for Mr. Ritz himself, he was caught here in KY where he leased a bunch of farmland hunting rights, and he proceeded to poach the hell out of deer, killing several bucks, on camera in one season, when KY had been a one buck only per year limit for years before that. It also stretched into Ohio as they had leased land in both states, right across the river from each other, and were caught claiming deer that were shot here in KY, in Ohio. He and several other notable tv personalities,one or two I can think of, but the other ones got off scot free because they were supposedly innocent and were under Ritz and cronies guide service. Ritz's hunting privileges in KY were suspended for life, and he was fined several thousand dollars, and had to spend tens of thousands to restore the deer they had killed.

Well, that stinks about the man. I sure would like to see the brand back on the market. Quality side hammers again!
