Estate sales can be fabulous, IF you have patience and time. Picked up a Sinclair hand priming tool with all the Lee shell holders for $15. GW
Nice find. I have a good amount of CCI primers of that vintage, maybe not quite as old. Work just fine.
I used to stop at garage/yard sales looking for shooting related items. It was so infrequent to find something, I gave up on that. If you buy other crap, there is always that to bring home....I have too much crap already...and too much shooting stuff. I should get a weekly post in the Swapping/Selling section to clean-up a bit.
I never go to estate auctions, but a cousin, who does not reload, goes to them regularly. Several times he bought a box of assorted stuff which also contained powder. So, he has given me one pound canisters of HP38, H110, and ! Bullseye to name a few of them. Usually no primers though he has given me a few sleeves.
200 primers just showed up from the back of my cabinet that are plain white sleeved and coded like military stuff. the ID numbers are 120M and 257W. My deceased friend who I got them from taped them closed to preclude them scattering all over creation. Any ideas what size they are? The date code is 01-19-93. Thanks in advance!
I just contacted Winchester about them. We'll see.
