I always used that in mine. I still use it instead of the red can they sold. It works in my Peacock hand warmers too. They say use benzine (not same a benzene)

Fuel: Use regular handwarmer fluid, benzine (not benzene), pure white gasoline, or lighter fluid (e.g.,ZippoR ).
I got it up and running toasty, thanks for the reply.
Lighter fluid works in both mine, they used to be my parents and they used them at football games for years. I like them old things.
I think they are pretty cool and have 5 and they work great. Zippo makes one too.
I think duck/goose hunters and ice fisherman still use them some tho I usually just use the throw away packet kind.
Attachment 323445 I found my can of Jonee fluid, but I haven't found the hand warmer.
I got one around here some place in it nice red velvet bag.......Those throwaway do dads work for me now. Buy em up in the dead of summer when on sale, get cheap. I have some that are 5+ years old from a big score that still work perfect.
Cabelas still sells them. Last i looked. They worked well in wool coats, but the stuff like gourtex cuts of the airflow and they go out. Left mine in PA when i sold the house

I have a couple that I found after my Dad past away still work fine
I haven't seen the fluid ones that Jon-E and Zippo make, but I always liked the charcoal hand warmers.
Had both the Jon-e and charcoal stick warmers back when I was doing winter camping. Still have a couple of the Jon-e warmers and replaced the deteriorated lighting wicks with cotton string years ago. The elements are still good some 50 years from new and they get hot. Better than the new fangled chemical heaters, but not near as convenient.
I've only ever used Jon-e warmer fluid because I never used mine very often.
I don't have a copy anymore but I seem to recall the old instruction sheet saying Jon-E fluid, most but not all lighter fluids, naptha, or white gas.
