Trimmed and chamfered over 600 cases of 5.7x28 and USPS delivered 36gr mold. I have some 40gr Hornadys but want to try PC as well. Figured 36 gr powder coated will be close to 40 as well.

Another thought - if you've used once fired brass that was made for Hornady FTX bullet - it is shorter than normal, so pressure will be higher.

If you do it from work computer then it's your organization's IT policy, not much you can do about it.

Powder overcharge maybe, as many said above SRP is pretty much same as SPM energy wise. I'd look elsewhere for a problem. Was that a big batch you've loaded, did you try to pull few rounds to check...

That’s probably a typo and bullet is 158 gr ? How did cylinder locked up, could it be no powder charge and bullet stuck in the forcing cone ? With 158 gr I wouldn’t consider 13.5 gr of 2400 super hot...

Finished resizing batch of 500 fired 5.7x28 brass. My Lee shell holder for 25 ACP turned out to be very sloppy for this cartridge, so ordered RCBS one, which fits perfect.

Thanks ! Yeah I’ve been reading a lot about this cartridge reload, maybe I’ve missed, but I haven’t seen many stories about PC bullets been used.

Resurrecting this thread. Just got me M&P 5.7 and was thinking about using PC bullets in it. Anyone have experience with this MP mold. It looks promising, with 35 gr dropped, plus PC it should be...

Have to admit I had to search what MUP-1 stands for; interesting but to me name of that website sounds like a "honeypot", which will be heavily monitored by alphabet soup agencies.
I'd watch those...

I size after coating. If size before I'd be concerned about surface contamination and PC adherence.

To be fair I’ve never had problems with other shooters interfering with my LabRadar indoors or outdoors.

I haven't used Garmin but LabRadar phone app has some deficiencies: at least two are bugging me (not a show stopper). First it looses the connection to the unit whenever phone goes to lock screen and...

I've been smoking for over 30 years at least pack a day. Quit in 2008, I think, and never looked back. In 15 years even at $5 a pack savings come to a $27000+ - quite a chunk of cash lol.

Well it's definitely not too heavy, I've been tumbling 500-700 45ACP cases just fine; as others mentioned probably just need more traction.

I'd say just keep trying - I was getting error yesterday on the ipad, today I was able to access from laptop and ipad and now it's 403 again :)

I'm pretty happy with my Dillon trimmer - that way trimming is not a separate process. Decap, size and trim at a single lever pull - can't be happier :)

I only lube big bore magnums - 500 and 460.

For me biggest challenge was/is MP-700 mold for my 500 mag.

I've bough annealeez and couldn't be happier (also got extra wheels for short cases and fat cases).
